Information we collect
We collect the information needed to provide the service, including your name, email address, account and subscription status, prompts, uploaded images, generated pages and books, support messages, and actions you take in the application.
- Stripe processes payments. We receive billing identifiers, plan and payment status, but we do not store your full payment-card number.
- We collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, session and analytics events to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Photos and prompts may contain personal information about you or other people. Avoid uploading identity documents, financial information, health records, or other information not needed to create your content.
How we use and share information
We use information to authenticate accounts, generate and store content, process payments and print orders, provide support, send service messages, prevent misuse, understand product performance, and comply with legal obligations.
We share information only as needed with providers that support hosting and storage, AI generation and image processing, payments, email, analytics, printing, security, and customer support. Uploaded images and prompts may be sent to configured AI providers to complete your request. Providers may process information in other countries under their own legal obligations.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Private and public visibility
New books and pages are private by default. A private item is limited to you and authorized operators, although processors still receive the data needed to provide the service.
A book or page becomes publicly accessible only when you change its visibility to Public. Character previews have a separate public-visibility control and are private by default. Public content can be viewed and shared by anyone with access to its URL.
- Returning an item to Private stops it from appearing on ColoringBookify's public surfaces, but it cannot recall copies someone already downloaded, shared, cached, or published elsewhere.
- Do not make content public if it contains a private photo, a child's image, personal details, or material you do not have permission to publish.
Retention and deletion
Account data and assets are retained while your account and related records remain active, and longer where reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, payment and accounting obligations, or legal compliance.
- Deleting an individual page permanently removes its record and schedules its attached files for deletion from active storage.
- Deleting a book does not automatically delete pages that remain in your page library. Delete those pages separately if you also want their files removed.
- Archiving a reusable character hides it from active use but does not erase its source image, generated reference, or historical versions.
- There is currently no self-service account-deletion button. Email us to request account or personal-data deletion. We will verify the request and explain any records we must retain.
- Deleted data may remain temporarily in backups, logs, queued jobs, caches, or a processor's systems before routine deletion or expiry is complete.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information and may object to or withdraw consent for some uses. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
- You can change book, page, and character-preview visibility in the application.
- You can unsubscribe from optional marketing email while continuing to receive necessary account, billing, or service messages.
- No internet service can promise absolute security. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and review access to production systems.
Photos of children and other people
ColoringBookify is intended for adults who can enter a binding agreement. If you upload a photo of a child or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and to request the intended processing and publication. A parent, guardian, school, or organization remains responsible for obtaining any consent its circumstances require.
